  • Sava insurance group net profit increases by 48% in Q1

    Ljubljana, 17 May (STA) - The turnover of insurance group Sava increased by 18.4% to EUR 307.8 million in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year, with growth recorded in all operating segments. The group's net profit went up by 48.3% to EUR 29.8 million, shows a report published on Friday.

  • Petrol group's net profit drops 40% to EUR 15m in Q1

    Ljubljana, 17 May (STA) - The group around the fuel retailer Petrol generated EUR 1.5 billion in sales revenue in the first three months of the year, down 19% year-on-year, while net profit decreased by 40% to EUR 15 million. Petrol noted in a report published on Friday that the group's operations were significantly affected by fuel price regulation.

  • Wind farm, one of the largest Slovenian investments in Serbia, inaugurated

    Belgrade, 16 May (STA) - A Slovenian fund and a Serbian group have inaugurated Krivača, a joint wind power plant in Serbia, each contributing half of the EUR 165 million needed to build it, in what is one of the largest Slovenian investments in Serbia.

  • Krka reports record-high sales revenue and profit

    Ljubljana, 16 May (STA) - The pharmaceutical group Krka generated EUR 486.1 million in sales revenue in the first three months of the year, an increase of 6% over the same period last year, while its net profit increased by 11% to EUR 98.8 million, the core company said on Thursday, adding that the figures are record-high.
