With the awards for best foreign investors the Slovenian Government is rewarding exceptional contributions of foreign investors in the Slovenian business environment in 2023.

By presenting the FDI Award Slovenia to the best foreign investors– , the Government of the Republic of Slovenia wants to recognize the outstanding contributions of foreign investors to the Slovenian business environment. Foreign investors are crucial for the creation of new jobs and added value, as well as for research and development, new technologies and regional and international expansion. The prizes are awarded to the most successful companies with foreign capital that are expanding their business activities and increasing the number of employees in Slovenia, s well as promoting GREEN, CREATIVE and SMART solutions. The awards honor the foreign owners, Slovenian employees, suppliers and customers who are the essential building blocks of their success.
The awards, which have been presented by SPIRIT Business Slovenia Development Agency since 2006, complement the broader Slovenian strategy for attracting foreign direct investment, which is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the entire Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
