The E’dyn brand was created by the Podkrižnik company, which has been developing, manufacturing, and marketing intelligent propulsion systems for various fields and applications for decades.
E’dyn – short for electro-dynamic nautical propulsion systems – creates innovative technical solutions for electric nautical drives. Innovative enough, in fact, that their e´dyn-1120 came out the absolute winner at the e-Regatta, Venezia 2021 for electric drive boats this past summer.
The 1120 is a sleek, water-cooled, 11kW outboard motor with electronic tilt adjustment – and will gain a big brother this year in the new 2040, with a boost in power of 20-25 kW.
Traditionally, the Podkrižnik company has positioned itself as a system development partner for specialty drive solutions, covering professional handheld tools, white goods, industrial systems, the automotive industry, robotics, safety systems, automatization, and e-mobility.
Today, their newly developed nautical portfolio consists of several electrical propulsion motors, both inboard and outboard, battery chargers and batteries, controllers, steering mechanisms and navigation systems, as well as solar panels for ecological recharging capabilities. And an e-boat, which won big in Venice, will soon hit the market.
