Engineering and construction company GIC Group from Rogaška Slatina in eastern Slovenia opened the International Center for Sustainable Construction (MCTG) in May, an interactive hub for developing and testing advanced sustainable building solutions. Designed to connect experts from private companies, the public sector, and research institutions, MCTG promotes renewable resources and circular economy practices. The center features an innovative thermal storage system developed in cooperation with one of Slovenia’s leading high-tech companies, Dewesoft. The center showcases best practices in sustainable construction, offering comprehensive resources for planners, financiers, manufacturers, and service providers.
