The commission selected the company DEWESoft, d. o. o. from Trbovlje, which was distinguished by high, positive values of selected objective indicators and at the same time received a high rating for the development and company's international activities.

Dewesoft develops and produces high-quality measuring devices and instrumentation for data acquisition, testing and measurement of all kinds of physical phenomena. They are used in the world's most advanced laboratories to develop rockets and satellites, new safer vehicles and products to improve everyday life. The company has 18 offices worldwide and sells in more than 50 countries. Its customers include NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), General Motors, Boeing, Airbus, Porsche, BMW, Audi, the Indian Space Program and Volvo.

Upon receiving the award dr. Jure Knez, the President of Dewesoft d.o.o. said:

The ITM Exporter of the Year award was given for the ninth time this year. The previous winners were Xlab, Metra ingenering, Strip's, Špica International, Geneplanet, Seltron, Eurotronik Kranj and Termo Shop.
