Slovenia's qualities that make it a prime FDI location have received due credit: a well-educated workforce,  English, German and Italian spoken by two-thirds of Slovenians, the country's title as the fastest growing Innovation follower according to the European Innovation Scoreboard with  the share of gross domestic expenditure on R&D above the EU average (77 percent of total funds provided by the business sector).
Slovenia’s advantages go further: transportation infrastructure with over 700 km of motorways, 1,200 km of railway, three airports, the deep-sea Port of Koper and well-developed ICT infractucture with a range of technologies to assist organisations in running efficiently.  Given the wealth of opportunities associated with doing business in Slovenia, the best way is to contact the award-winning Slovenia’s IPA – SPIRIT Slovenija – to learn more. And for many foreign investor already here, they can benefit from the range of activities post-establishment facilitation services designed to encourage follow-on investment and to foster a developmental impact.
