South Korean cosmetic and medical product producer T&L has opened its first European production facility in a commercial zone near Maribor. The plant will manufacture patches for skin imperfections, including those with hemp extracts. Since establishing T&L Europe in Ljubljana three years ago, the company has invested around €3 million in Slovenia and plans to invest an additional €10 million to expand the facility. T&L Europe already cooperates with Slovenian hemp-product maker PharmaHemp in developing advanced cosmetic products and medical devices. Founded in 1998, T&L also operates in South Korea and China and plans to open a U.S. subsidiary. The Maribor plant will grow to produce more cosmetics and serve as a European sales hub.
