The winner of this year’s contest for the nation’s best start-up is Fliqa, developer of an open banking platform.
Five companies made it to the final round of this year’s competition for the best start-up. The final victory went to Fliqa. The young company from Ljubljana developed an open banking system, simplifying transactions for businesses and allowing real-time credit risk assessments. The other four finalists include Plan Z, Remea, TipPri, and DDD Invoices.
Plan Z is a biotech company focusing on cannabis-based biopharmaceutical products. The company developed innovative plant stem infusion technology.
Remea created a digital EV charging platform offering a high level of transparency and improved station management for small and medium size providers.
TipPri focuses on quantum data analytics. One of their services are tailor made solutions for the optimization of logistics systems in smart factories.
DDD Invoices created a global e-invoicing API producing instant compliance with the latest regulations in various countries. At present the system works in Scandinavia, a few countries in southeastern Europe, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The contest is organized by Start:up Slovenia, »an independent open platform of the Slovenian startup ecosystem«. The award ceremony took place in Ljubljana in mid-June.
