Ten Slovenian nautical companies presented their products at this year's IBEX, International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference at Tampa, Florida, in early October.
The companies presented a vast array of products ranging from software and instruments, to carbon composite and plastic components.
LXNav presented its marine navigation instruments and chart plotters. Marina Master developed cloud-based software for the management of marinas. Another nautical software developer is Sentinel Labs. Its Sentinelmarine application allows for the remote control and monitoring boats.
GS Composite produces technologically advanced ultra-light carbon gangways and steering wheels for yachts. Roto from Murska Sobota is a global producer of high-quality plastic products for various use. The company produces fuel and water tanks for boats, various plastic boxes and seats. Apart from these components Roto also produces custom made boats.
Koper based Sandiline presented its wetsuits and other clothing for sailing and watersports. P team manufactures various slings suitable for use in marinas and other yacht docks. Spinaker exhibited its Boatasy series of boat hooks.
Simarine develops battery monitoring systems for boats and caravans. Its Nereide Panel won the DAME award two years ago at Metsrade in Amsterdam as the best product in marine electronics and marine related software category. Dewesoft is a developer of high-tech measurement systems for various industries and usages. Their data acquisition systems are also used in naval and marine performance testing and simulation.
