A delegation of representatives of ten Slovenian companies attended the Korea Import Fair Trade in Seoul and presented themselves at the business and investment conference "Slovenia a Hidden Champion in the Heart of Europe" from 28th to 30th June 2023.
A delegation of representatives of ten Slovenian companies and institutions accompanied the official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Mrs. Tanja Fajon, and the Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sports, Mr. Matjaž Han, to South Korea.
They attended the opening of one of the most important import fairs, "Korea Import Fair Trade", where Slovenian companies presented themselves in the joint Slovenian pavilion. After the business conference the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Seoul were officially opened and a reception for diplomats, businessmen and other foreign guests was held on the occasion of the Slovenian National Day.
Minister Matjaž Han addressed the participants of the business and investment conference entitled "Slovenia a Hidden Champion in the Heart of Europe", where the Slovenian business and investment environment, economy, tourism and opportunities for foreign investors
were presented. Slovenian companies learned about the possibilities for entering the Korean market and had B2B meetings with Korean companies.
During the visit to Korea, SPIRIT Slovenia Business Development Agency and KOTRA, the Korean partner agency for business and investment, signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation.
