A Slovenian investor group comprised of Advance Capital Partners and Mass, a leading shoe retailer, is set to acquire the Austrian footwear company Leder & Schuh. The Austrian company operates 210 stores across nine European countries under the Humanic and Shoe4You brands and generates over 300 million euros in annual turnover. Following regulatory approvals, Leder & Schuh will integrate into the Mass Group but continue independent operations. The merged companies with over 290 stores, 2,300 employees and around 400 million euros in sales, will rank among Europe's top ten footwear retailers. According to Mass founder and CEO Sašo Apostolovski, the group will open approximately 60 new stores in the next five years, aiming to become the leading omnichannel retailer in Central and Eastern Europe with projected annual revenues exceeding €500 million by 2029. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
