Swiss company Lonstroff owned by the Japanese company Sumitomo Rubber starts with the construction of a medical elastomer plant in Slovenia.
Yesterday, the Swiss company Lonstroff owned by the Japanese company Sumitomo Rubber Industries planted trees in Logatec as a symbolic start of the construction of a medical elastomer plant. The new plant will erase on the degraded area of an abandoned factory and the construction is expected to be completed in the spring of 2019. The value of the investment is € 48 million. The Slovenian government has allocated a € 4.8 million grant to the project expected to create 180 new jobs.
