Revoz revenue down, net profit up last year

Novo Mesto, 22 April (STA) - Revoz, the Slovenian subsidiary of the French car manufacturer Renault, posted EUR 822.5 million in sales revenue in 2023, down from EUR 933.3 million in 2022. Net profit doubled from EUR 4.7 million to EUR 9.4 million, the company said in a press release on Monday.

Revoz, which currently assembles Clio, Twingo and electric Twingo, employs 1,400 workers and makes 325 vehicles daily. Last year, 60,881 vehicles were made at the Novo Mesto-based plant.

Reuters has recently reported that Renault plans to start producing a more affordable version of its electric Twingo model in Novo Mesto in 2026, but the company said they can only confirm that the production of Clio will continue.

A decision on the new model of the electric Twingo, which was presented at the end of last year, has not been made yet, but is expected to be made very soon, the company said. Revoz's operations will largely depend on that decision, as the production of the old model of Twingo and the current electric Twingo will end this year.
