Slovenia’s transportation and logistics sector is one of the key development priorities of the Slovene economy. Three business forums in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi will highlight advantages for the expansion of Vietnamese businesses to Europe and present Slovenian companies offering excellent service and top logistics and supply chain solutions.

Choosing Slovenia as an entry gate to European markets means an ideal point of entry for the supply chains to the Central and Eastern European markets. Port of Koper represents the shortest link from Korea to Europe via Suez Canal, which is 2,000 nautical miles shorter and 7 days quicker in transit time than any other water-link to North-European ports. These two advantages result in optimization of the whole supply chain, and consequently making it more efficient and lean, with substantial cost and time savings for the customer.
