We invite you to join us at the business conference "Slovenia - Japan: Advanced technologies and innovations for a common future". The conference will present innovative technological solutions in the field of hydrogen and robotics and their use in industrial verticals such as energy, mobility, logistics and automotive industry.
Hydrogen technologies are gaining prominence globally as a carbon-neutral energy source. Slovenia stands out with its top-level expertise across the entire hydrogen value chain – from production and storage to end-user applications in mobility, transport, and industry.
Slovenian companies are actively involved in European and global hydrogen development through participation in major international projects, such as IPCEI and the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley. A strong Slovenian hydrogen consortium, comprising 18 companies, organizations, and municipalities, is playing a central role in building the national hydrogen ecosystem and deepening international collaboration with Japan. Japan’s Ambassador to Slovenia will award the former and current presidents of the Slovenia-Japan Business Council for their efforts in advancing Slovenian-Japanese business cooperation.
The upcoming conference will showcase Slovenian projects in hydrogen technologies, robotics, and innovation.

The purpose of the agreement between MORS and ELES is to consolidate a strategic partnership in the study and implementation of new technologies that support a sustainable energy transition, reduce the carbon footprint and ensure security of supply even in crisis situations. In this context, the RESHUB project represents an opportunity for the Kranj Barracks to develop into a demonstration center for energy self-sufficiency, combining military infrastructure with innovative solutions in the field of renewable sources and hydrogen. This opens up the possibility of integrating the project into broader European development programs, such as Horizon Europe, the European Defence Fund and the Recovery and Resilience Instrument.
