Ljubljana, 27 September (STA) - Slovenia's survey unemployment stood at an estimated 3.3% in August, a record low that is unchanged compared to July and 0.4 percentage points below the rate a year ago, suggests fresh data from the Statistics Office.
Statisticians, who have been measuring survey unemployment since January 2010, estimate that around 34,000 people aged 15 to 74 were jobless in August, 54% of whom were men and 46% women.
The survey unemployment rate was the same for men and women, at 3.3%.
The Statistics Office says that the monthly survey unemployment estimates are model-based experimental statistics and as such not completely reliable.
