Ljubljana, 29 November (STA) - Slovenia's survey unemployment rate reached 4.9% in October, up by 0.4 percentage points compared to September and up by 1.4 percentage points year-on-year, shows data published by the Statistics Office on Friday.
In October some 51,000 people aged 15 to 74 were jobless, 56% of whom were men and 44% were women. The survey unemployment rate was at 5% for men and 4.8% for women.
The Statistics Office says that the monthly survey unemployment estimates are model-based experimental statistics and as such not completely reliable.
