Salus allocates EUR 8.4m for dividends at EUR 80 per share

Ljubljana, 18 April (STA) - The shareholders of the Ljubljana-based pharmaceutical and medical equipment wholesaler Salus endorsed at Thursday's annual general meting (AGM) the proposal that EUR 8.43 million be allocated for dividends at EUR 80 gross per share. The amount includes an interim dividend of EUR 40 gross per share that was paid out in January.

The remaining EUR 40 gross per share will be paid out on 29 April, with the ex-dividend date being set at 28 April, Salus said in a press release on Friday.

This is a 12% increase from EUR 7.38 million for dividends at EUR 70 gross per share last year.

The remaining distributable profit will stay undistributed, decided the company's AGM, at which representatives of just over 30% of the capital with voting rights were present.

The shareholders attending the meeting also endorsed the proposal for authorised capital to be increased from EUR 440,000 to EUR 8.3 million through transformation of other equity items.

The increase in the authorised capital will be carried out without the issuance of new shares, and the corresponding amount of each no-par value share will be increased, with one share to be divided into 78 shares.

The authorised capital will be divided into a total of 105,375 ordinary no-par value shares, and the corresponding amount per share will be EUR 78.77.

Salus recently reported group net revenue of EUR 649 million for last year, up by 8.2% compared to 2023, while net profit grew by 26% to EUR 13 million. The plan for this year is EUR 690 million in net revenue and EUR 12 million in net profit.
