Ljubljana, 17 April (STA) - The total book value of state capital investments managed by Slovenia Sovereign Holding (SSH) reached EUR 13 billion at the end of 2024, representing a 6.6% increase compared to the end of 2023, according to the 2024 investment management report. The return on these state investments was 9.8%, compared to 10.1% the previous year.

Last year's return exceeded projections in the 2024 annual management plan by 3.1 percentage points, the state asset custodian commented on the report, which was reviewed by the supervisory board on Thursday.

Based on these investments, the state and SSH received EUR 487.6 million in dividends in 2024 stemming from the 2023 financial year.

According to SSH, this figure surpassed the target set in the annual plan. In October last year, the holding indicated this amount was 27% higher than the estimate in the annual plan.

The dividend income is also significantly higher than that received in 2023, which totalled EUR 175.5 million.
