Ljubljana, 10 June (STA) - The total value of industrial production in Slovenia was down by 1.2% in April over the month before and by 4.7% year-on-year, the Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
Compared to March, the value of industrial production in April was down by 9.1% in electricity, gas and steam supply, by 0.6% in manufacturing, and by 0.3% in mining.
On a monthly basis, the value of production for investment goods increased by 3.8%, while for both consumer goods and intermediate goods it fell by 2.5%.
In annual comparison, the value of industrial production in April dropped by 11.5% in electricity, gas and steam supply, by 3.6% in manufacturing, and by 2.7% in mining.
Total sales revenue in industry was up by 0.7% in April compared to March. It increased by 16.5% in mining and by 0.6% in manufacturing.
Year-on-year, total sales revenue in industry fell by 2.5%. It decreased in manufacturing activities, while it grew in mining.
The total value of stocks in industrial production was up by 1.1% in April compared to the previous month and by 3.2% compared to April last year.
