Hit to pay out over EUR 3m in dividends

Nova Gorica, 30 August (STA) - Hit, a Nova Gorica-based gaming group, will pay out EUR 3.1 million in dividends for the business year 2023 and several previous years, according to a decision the shareholders made on Friday. The group is majority owned by the state, with Slovenian Sovereign Holding and KAD commanding nearly 49% and several municipalities 20%.

Since Hit did not pay out dividends on preferred stock for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, the shareholders agreed with the management and supervisory boards' proposal to pay out not only the dividend for 2023 but also the overdue dividends from the previous years.

The owners of preferred and ordinary shares will get the dividends on 10 September, Hit said in a press release.

The AGM, attended by just over 95% of the shareholders, also discussed the annual business report for last year.

The group generated EUR 176.6 million in revenue, up 13% from 2022, and finished the year with a net profit of EUR 8.4 million, which is a quarter less than in 2022.

The parent company's revenue increased by 6% to EUR 149.6 million while its net profit decreased by a third to EUR 5.6 million.

The Sandi Brataševec-led management and the supervisory board received discharge of liability.
