Ljubljana, 10 March (STA) - Regulated fuel prices will decrease in Slovenia at midnight. Regular petrol sold off motorways will be 5.7 cents cheaper at EUR 1.481 per litre and diesel will be 4.8 cents cheaper at EUR 1.55 per litre, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy announced on Monday.
Heating oil will also get cheaper, by 5.3 cents, to sell at EUR 1,145 per litre.
The new prices, which only pertain to service stations outside the motorway network, will be in effect until 24 March.
If prices were not regulated, petrol would cost EUR 1.562, diesel EUR 1.631 and heating oil EUR 1.249 per litre, according to the ministry's estimates.
Slovenia adjusts petrol prices biweekly to prices of oil derivatives on the Mediterranean markets and the euro-dollar exchange rate.
