Prestranek, 24 October (STA) - Fluidmaster, a global supplier of an extensive range of sanitary solutions with a corporate office in San Juan Capistrano, US, and production in Slovenia, is moving from three locations in Postojna and Neverke, where it operated in rented facilities, to a new plant in Prestranek near Postojna.
The new facility, encompassing offices and production at some 13,200 m2, offers about 30% more space than all three previous locations combined. According to CEO Aleksandar Begunović, the area is roughly the same but they mostly gained height, which will be useful for storing products.
Fluidmaster invested several dozen million euros in the new facility, "which means the company will stay in Slovenia and continue to offer jobs to many citizens of our municipality", Postojna Mayor Igor Marentič said at today's inaugural ceremony.
The company currently employs almost 200 people and plans to hire in the future, Begunović said at the ceremony also attended by the owners of the US company Robert and Corinne Anderson Schoepe.
Apart from Slovenia, Fluidmaster also has production plants in Mexico, China, the UK, and Turkey.
