Celje, 28 April (STA) - Cetis, a printing group specialised in secure documents, commercial printing and packaging, posted EUR 113.6 million in sales revenue in 2024, down 9.4% compared to the year before. Net profit was down by 11% to EUR 16.3 million.
The positive trend of renewing IDs, banking cards and tachograph cards continued in 2024, when the company's services were also required in the elections to the European Parliament in Slovenia, Cetis wrote in a press release on Monday.
The parent company Cetis generated EUR 59.6 million in revenue last year, down by 12.6% compared to the year before. More than two thirds or 68% of the revenue was generated abroad. The company ended the year with a net profit of EUR 15.2 million, down 6.7% compared to 2023.
Last year the group completed large projects in more than 30 countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Middle East.
Cetis started building a new facility next to its headquarters in Celje last year. The new production and office building will span more than 9,500 m2. Cetis also invested in modern hardware and software for electronic travel documents.
