Ljubljana, 23 December (STA) - Slovenia's business sentiment rose 0.5 percentage points in December to stand at -2.6 percentage points, largely due to optimism among consumers, show the latest Statistics Office data.
Consumer sentiment boosted the headline sentiment figure by 0.7 points, with manufacturing adding 0.1 points.
In the construction industry sentiment deteriorated, dragging down the headline figure by 0.3 points.
Sentiment in services and retail was flat.
At the annual level, business sentiment rose by 0.4 points.
In general, sentiment has remained broadly flat throughout the year after it recovered from a pronounced dip towards the end of 2023.
