Ljubljana, 13 May (STA) - Commercial real estate operator BTC saw net profit rise by 43% to EUR 10.4 million last year on sales that rose 4.3% to EUR 100.2 million. All key indicators rose year over year, the company said after its annual general meeting on Tuesday.
Earnings before income tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose by more than a tenth to EUR 22.7 million, and the company spent EUR 13.9 million on investments.
The shareholders confirmed dividends of EUR 17.5 per share, for a total payout of EUR 3.9 million.
Best known as operator of Ljubljana's largest shopping district, BTC City, the company is in majority ownership of senior managers.
It plans slight growth in sales revenue and EBITDA this year, whereas net profit is projected to drop by a third.
