Boscarol buys Cimos facility in Senožeče

Ajdovščina, 29 October (STA) - The company of businessman and developer Ivo Boscarol has bought the production facility of the automotive industry supplier Cimos in Senožeče, southwest, which it intends to lease out. The Boscarol company said it was a strategic investment as there is a shortage of large production facilities in the region.

The location in Senožeče allows for efficient international logistics and distribution of goods to various markets due to the accessibility of major transport links, the company said.

The premises include more than 30,000 m2 of land and buildings with a total net floor area of 11,700 m2.

The company estimates that the production facilities are suitable for one lessee and could be used for different purposes, from production to warehousing. The factory is in good condition and already available for potential lessees, Boscarol said.

The company said it was prevented by a contractual clause from disclosing the purchase price.

The paper Primorske Novice reported in February that the Cimos owner, the German financial fund Mutares, put the factory and the adjacent land up for sale at the opening price of EUR 4.2 million, tax excluded.

The paper said at the time that there had been quite a lot of interest in the facility and land, but Boscarol's bid was by far the best.
